Tales of Pirates

The teams behind Tales of Pirates, the ToP forum, ToP Face book and ToP Space are getting ready to hold a huge Comics Contest; giving Comic fans and amateur artists the chance to show off their talent and above all imagination. The event will begin on October, 1^st. An awesome zero-curse Black Dragon Set awaits the winners. If you have a creative streak or a boundless imagination then this is the event for you!

Eligibility:

All ToP players who enjoy designing comics

Event Content:

Each month officials will announce a theme. Entrants must use ToP characters, props, and scenery to create a relevant comic. Contestants can use software or create their own artwork by hand, but participating works must be original and have clear graphics and concise text. To join, entrants must submit their work on the official forum at http://forum.top.igg.com for consideration. Once the best comics are selected, game officials will publish them on the ToP Facebook and MySpace pages. Creators may even get the chance to work with the ToP team to present their comics to the community.

Event Schedule:

The Comic Strip Comics Contest is a regular monthly event. Submissions must be made no later than the 27th day of each month.  The winning comic strips will be announced on the first day of the following month, with the release of the awards and the announcement of the theme for the next competition.

Event Rewards:

To entice players to come up with their very best work, the ToP Team and IGG have rolled out a plethora of fantastic awards, including the ultimate prize and the zero-curse Black Dragon Set. Our officials will announce the rewards selected at the start of each month at the same time that the theme is announced.

Notice:

1.      The copy right of entries is shared by the designer and IGG official, the authorization is made at comic designer granting IGG official the right to use as soon as the video works submitted.

2.      All entries will be able to be used by IGG and TOP officials in the promotion events.

3.      IGG reserves all rights to final judgment of the event.

The TOP officials are all set to set the fashion world ablaze! Why? Well it's simple; we want to make our own T-shirts! But the best part is that we want you to design them for us! So if you think you've got what it takes to set the fashion standard then we want to see. Not only will you be showered with kudos and adoration for being so stylish but you will also stand the chance of winning the TOP award as well as many other cool rewards. Remember it's easy to walk but it's better to strut!
 

Event Duration:
June, 19th --- June, 30th EDT (GMT-4)
 

T-shirt Design Requirement:
1.The design must be based on round collar T-shirt (See the T-shirt module below for reference.)
 

2.Players must show the illustrated T-shirt from 2 sides: front and back.
 

3.The T-shirt design must contain the game features, or game play of TOP. Any style or color choice is great. Express yourself!
 

Event Rules:
1.Upload your work into your space, like myspace, facebook or your favorite BLOG website.
 

2.You can also submit your work to the TOP BLOG, or the TOP zone at Facebook.

Summer is almost here, and as things heat up outside, IGG is offering some sizzling summer anniversary events for their Buzz members to enjoy inside.

IGG reserves the rights to final interpretation of the events and their rules. 

May is coming soon and as we know, May is a month full of surprises. To celebrate TOP will be holding an Innovation Contest; which will offer our players a platform to showcase their talents. The stage has been set. But, whose ideas will be the best and the most creative? Who will be the trend setter?  Take part in this activity and be in with the chance of winning some of the fantastic prizes that we have prepared for you; such as the Black Gem, the Goddess Favor and so on. Hand in your fabulous work and maybe win big! 

Event Introduction:

Event I:  TOP COSPLAY SHOW

When you really like and admire a character you can often find yourself adopting some of their signature catchphrases and attitudes. In a nut shell this is what we call COSPLAY. Not only copying the character’s style and fashion, but also their verve and charm.  But in a break from the norm we are going to move the COSPLAY forum from the convention hall to the web. Join us by uploading your TOP COSPLAY Video or photo work onto your space, (like myspace, facebook or your favorite BLOG website). So you can share your work with all of the other Comic and Animation fans online. The best work will win huge prizes!

 Event II:  The skillful craftsman

The aim of the game is to take everyday objects and redesign to fit into the world of Tales of Pirates. Take a picture of your work and upload it onto your space like myspace, facebook or your favorite BLOG website. The most vivid and interesting work will win great prizes.

 Event III:  The creative maker

Innovation exists everywhere. Just use your imagination to create something really groovy using our TOP designs, including all characters, Monsters, BOSSes, and items etc. Upload your picture into your space, (like myspace, facebook or your favorite BLOG website) and join our innovation contest.
